Directions for Use:

New Acers

Bare-root plants: (Plant between October-March when ground is not frozen or water-logged).
• Dig a hole approx. 60cm wide x 25cm deep (the roots must have room to spread out).
• Mix a handful of Acer Feed into the bottom of the planting hole.
• Once planted, add a handful of feed and work into the top soil

Container plants: (Plant at any time of year in suitable soil conditions).
• Water container plant thoroughly and then place into hole.
• Carefully remove the container by cutting down each side.
• Mix a handful of Acer Feed into the bottom of the planting hole.
• Once planted, add a handful of feed and work into the top soil.

Established Acers (Apply Acer Feed twice during the season)

First application (April-May):
• Sprinkle 28g (1oz) evenly around each plant when active growth appears (avoiding stems & leaves).
• Mix in gently with a hoe.
• Water if the soil is dry.

Second application (July-August):
• Sprinkle 28g (1oz) evenly around each plant (avoiding stems & leaves).
• Mix in gently with a hoe.
• Water if the soil is dry

For small/young trees, dose as above. For large trees use double the dose.
(NB 1 gloved handful contains approx. 30g).

Tips:
• Read all directions carefully before use.
• Do not exceed the recommended application rates.
• Store the fertiliser in a dry place away from children, pets and foodstuffs.
• Wash hands after use - product may irritate cut or broken skin.
• Avoid fertiliser lodging in the leaves or stems of the plants.
• Brush up any spills.
• Keep away from pets and children and store in a cool, dry place.
